For Tomorrow

Hi Everyone,

Again, I apologize about the mix up with the laptops and the publab. I would also like to once again thank Donna and Emily for getting the laptops that we used today. For tomorrow we will meet and spend the whole period in the publab (Room 328). Please report there at the start of 3rd period. I don't know yet about the rest of the week, but we'll figure out something.

At this point you should have completed your scripts/articles and editors should be finalizing them for publication. Please do not waste your computer time tomorrow. Layout and design people I have found someone who is an expert in InDesign and he will be working with you tomorrow.

Please do not forget that your Roadtrip Nation interview appointments must be scheduled by this Friday, April 9th. I need to be e-mailed as to who the person is, when, where, how, and what time you are meeting with him or her. I also need a contact information so I can check to see that you actually have an appointment scheduled. When I say how the interview is to be scheduled I am referring to your method: telephone interview, skype or face-to-face. Please do not forget to do this as it will be an important part of you final grade.

I still have not received outstanding assignments from many of you. Please get these to me ASAP. The assignments are designed to improve your research, writing, and analytical skills. These are crucial skills to possess not just in school, but throughout life. Part of the learning process is what you discover about yourself as you complete your assignments. You will accomplish things which you never thought yourself capable of, so please get the work done. The other aspect of all this is that I will have to penalize anyone who is missing too many assignments. Grades are due in several weeks so please, please, please do the work now.
